Over the last month I've been working on this commission little by little. This piece was inspired by Salita, the feather armored girl from a few years ago, and was named after the client's mom. I've been wanting to create a few more paintings with that motif, and this piece was a great opportunity. As with the original, I loved gilding the edges of the feathers with gold leaf along with the halo.
Incredible as always! May be time to commission another.
